Do you fear a crash similar to 2001?

I´m extremely critical of Macri, but not for the same contradictory reasons you are. What you gotta ask yourself is just how bad the previous administration had to be for people to vote for Macri and continue to support him in spite of mediocre economic performance for the past two years.

It boggles my mind how someone can be critical of Macri for -according to them- ruining the Argentine economy, and causing rising unemployment and poverty, yet vote for the SAME PEOPLE that are responsible for DECADES of mismanagement and the situation Argentina is in.

I was gonna argue more about this, but honestly, whoever votes for a party that has done endless political, social and economic damage to Argentina for so long deserves no reply. I´m done here

See what I mean?? Another one that refuses to acknowledge the fact that Macri has not fulfilled any of his campaign promises and has missed the mark on all of his economic projections.

Of course, people continue to support him, but it's no way near the same amount of people who voted for him. His approval rating is way down.

Macri has caused the most economic damage of any other President in History. The foreign debt Macri created is off the charts.

People seem to pidgenhole those who do not support Macri as being leftists when nothing can be further fron the truth. I despise many socialist policies and believe in capitalism that promotes the empowerenment of the individual and the promotion of free business principles. Since Macri has come into power the middle and working class have had their lifeforce taken away from them and it it will get much worse now that the imf will oblige the argentinian government to make large cuts and increase the costs of basic services making them unaffordable for many. The debt taken on by Macri is in a very short time is over 200 billion. Remember he just borowed the largest amount ever from the imf for 50 billion. The foreign reserves are dwindling and the interest on these debts is skyhigh. How does Argentina pay when it has no printing presses to make usa dollars and a currency that is the one of the worst performing of 2018. I myself will not vote for any of the major parties as they are both pathetic but have to aclare that the last few years I have not seen such a massive erosion of peoples confidence in their future as under the present government. Hope has been extinguished in Argentina and this is now irreversible.

Many Argentines pay MUCH less for basic services than people in other Latin countries that earn much less. What´s your proposed solution to reduce the abysmal fiscal deficit, then? If there was no fiscal deficit there´d be no need to take on so much debt. How hard is this to understand?

I also wouldn´t want to vote for any of the major parties either, but as bad as this administration has been, it´s still the lesser of all evils, and that should tell you something about this country.

Hope has left Argentina a long, long time ago

Your only answer is to rebuttal with such silly stuff, because you know you cannot defend The Macri Organization. Instead of posting anything with substance, you just attack and post stuff like that. This is the strategy of The Macri Organization. Speak in generalities, give no specifics, attack those who dissent. Macri wants people to shut up and silence his critics. This is why you see stuff like the above.

You should have your text comprehension skills checked because at no point did I attack you. And I JUST said his administration has been bad. I think you´re the one that´s in love with Macri. In fact, If it was up to me, I´d have him replaced with someone else ASAP. The best thing that could happen at this point is a candidate from a new party running for the next Presidential election.

Lay off the Macri obsession wagon. It´s doing you harm.

Pizzadreams I have agreed with you on many topics but on this I agree to disagree.
Im sorry but your figures are incorrect as the costs of basic services are now higher than all our neighbours except Chile ( where wages are higher in us dollars ) You seem to be glorifying the current government just because of Peronism . What has the current government done with the debt it took on has it stimulated business , has it created jobs? 250 billion dollars is a lot of money and where has it all gone so quickly?

The foreign reserves are less than 55 billion dollars if they can be verified correctly . This is not a argument about left and right but an argument about the current situation which is much worse than it has been since the last 17 years . The current government is leading us to a precipice , they had incredible chances to make positive changes in the economy , they had the good will of the argentinian people to invest in the country at the beginning , remember over 100 billion dollars came back to Argentina under the amnesty program . Now less than 3 years later we are facing another crisis . How can this be? The current goverment is now in charge not Peronism meaning that the buck stops there

Answer the clear questions so we can understand your arguments . What has the current government done with the debt it took on has it stimulated business , has it created jobs? 250 billion dollars is a lot of money and where has it all gone so quickly?
