Hi expats and porteños out there!
1.) Living together and/or getting married: for example, same-sex marriage in Argentina (legal since 2010). Do you know a gay couple (expat or local) planning on getting married here? Or that got married recently? Or young (unmarried) couples that can't live together because they can't afford it, or need to get married first, due to their conservative upbringing. Any ideas?
2.) Hair: For me this seems interesting because locals here sometimes have the craziest haircuts and beards; and you hardly see a girl with short hair, why's that? And expats constantly seem to complain about finding a decent hairdresser. Do you know a "special" place to cut your hair, a crazy place, where you get a haircut? Do you know some "hairy stories"?
3.) Death and Mourning: The “Cementerio de Recoleta” is one of the most fascinating cemeteries in the world, so maybe there is also a good story to tell there? Have you met interesting people linked to this cemetery? Did you ever have to deal with death and mourning in BA? Do you know a funeral director here? Or, another angle, where do all these beloved, but deceased, dogs go??
4.) How to quit your addiction?: Know any interesting or even crazy addiction stories in BsAs? Sex-addicts, Football-addicts, meat-addicts, mate-addicts…??
I`m open to all kinds of leads here. Should in the end one of your hints get a green light and be made into a report, then there will be some sort of “thank you” from my side of course (e.g. a good Malbec, etc…).
Please let me know if you have any ideas or questions!!! Thanks for reading this and hope to hear from to you soon!

I`m doing some research on some topics for a Dutch TV-program called “Metropolis” (http://www.metropolistv.nl/en/), I used to work for them when I was living in Berlin. It's a very fresh, interesting and award-winning short-documentary series that takes you around the globe.
There's a list of topics for the upcoming season I'm trying to research now and some of them seem to be interesting in regard to Buenos Aires. (We’re talking about short documentaries/reports here.)
So, now I thought I ask around the expat-community, and especially those who’ve been living here for quite a while now, if you know some people/stories that fit to the following topics. You don’t have to research it by yourself, of course, just a hint or the right lead/contact to one of these topics would be very helpful! However, if you think you have an interesting story to tell then I`ll be more than happy to hear from you too!
