Dollar Restrictions - Next Steps?

Now, everyone is supposed to declare their dollars.

If you declare them, you'll be able to sleep better at night (because the three inch bundle will be gone from under your matress!) and you get a nice IOU note and 4% interest. :)

So then what? We've no had the CC limits put on for bordering countries.

I see the next step as being "no dollars being exported from country at all, not even under $10,000".

More dollar dogs at the airport. If you leave the country with $5000, the obvious question will be "where did you get them and why didn't you declare them when we asked?" If you can't prove, for example, that you brought them into the country months or years before, then I see big confiscation.

Seems ridiculous? If you'd told me a year ago that K would stop you going to a different country and pulling whatever you wanted out of the ATM, seeing as, you know, it's YOUR account, I would have also called you paranoid.

It's frog boiling time and has been for a year now...degree by degree, the water gets hotter, but there are so many oblivious frogs still.
