Pence is certainly more of a dullard than Trump (if that's possible), but I believe he at least would be controllable.

I`ve never agreed that war is good for the economy. It puts the country in debt and there`s usually nothing to show for it at the end. It would be better if money was spent on needed infrastructure, rather than war.

I think it's the historical aspect - we saw the economy boom in 1917, and WWII pulled the country out of the Great Depression. People don't accept that we live in different times, and there are other options for making a great economy.
