Driving The Roads In Argentina......caution!! Perils...!

Agreed ... but is it legal? will all tow truck drivers agree... Tks

Good question, i'm not that sure if it legal or not we didn't have problem and the truck driver neither so i supose was not illegal, if it is illegal and they know about it you can always play the nice paper or flash a note to convince him of how legal it is but at least for us the truck driver had no problem, actually he even sugest that if we want to not stay in the road we can get into the car and go in the back of the truck.

ACA confirmed that the towing service is free for only 60 kmts., beyond that is $4,8 pesos per km. charge If a dealership is within that range you are home FREE...!!!!

It is illegal to travel in a towed vehicle, either a towed car, trailer, camper trailer (recreational vehicle), boat, etc.

I've always had a fondness for the ubiquitous Ford Falcon but I'm willing to be 'doctrinated', he he he..

Hey Gringoboy-San, Yes, I concur. The Falcons were better than the Pintos! But the Hybrid Vehicles from Toyota/Lexus
can travel a monmouth distances reliably no needing to keeping tune ups and more money requiring up keeps.
I drive 3 of these Hybrids myself, A Prius.A Camry Hybrid,A Highlander hybrid. Probably unheard of, to your Guys the mortals...Own, steal, but driving a Toyota/Lexus Hybrid vehicles it will MAKE you Rich over the distance!. At 100k km it is just getting breaking in! Another 900.000 km to go before you needing to replace. If you do replace it earlier is 'cause "She" is losing luster, not because not functioning properly thus the Newness you carried no longer Exciting.!
