Perhaps some of you have gone to this country. A few years ago I was there but went by bus around the country seeing several cities and areas too. This time I wish to rent a car What are the rates? How do you go about getting a good rate?.
Looking for the best areas to view orchids. I do not want to go into the forest looking for them.
If you have good ideas please share them with me. I will leave 30th of May walter

Don't miss the Monkey Orchid. My favorite place in Ecuador is Banos and there were some orchids there, but the logging done a hundred years ago destroyed the cloud forests around Banos, so you can find more orchids elsewhere in Ecuador: http://yourescapetoe...vering-orchids/
 
I second Baños, and while hiking the cataractas gemelas near there saw some great orchids growing wild!
