Effects of eventual rise in colectivo fares

When you guys talk about "argentines" and the "rise of bus fare" you fail to realize that BA has had for quite a while a much cheaper ticket cost than most (I am not sure if not ALL) main argentine cities. Ironically, this is due to subsidies based on the riches produced elsewhere in the country. So, no, there won't be an uprising for an extra peso on the subway ticket, portenos knew it was coming for quite a while and much whining will be lost by the rest of the country On the management front, the passing of control of the subway system from the federal gov to the city was also long overdue. Mr Macri did was what necessary to keep costs in line.

As someone said: public transit is subsidized all over the world, including the capitalist United States. If riders in cities like Washington, New York or Philadelphia, among many others, had to pay the full cost of running the transit system, they wouldn't be able to afford it. That's especially true in cities where the poverty level is high. In relation to local BA WAGES, $2,50 is not cheap. It won't be $2,50 for long - just wait!

The cost of living in BA is high for most people and becoming oppressive for many. Again, most Porteños do not go to the BANELCO machine and withdraw money from a dollar account in the US! They do not think that things are "reasonable" compared to some place in the US or possibly Europe.

Anyway, I started out by saying that the increases will cause more inflation. If your maid uses the subway, shouldn't you adjust her wages? Soon the bus fare will go up and you should do the same if you are a considerate employer. Isn't that inflation?

Nope you are wrong money spend on subway cant be spend on something else and this decreasing inflation
