Entry Into Arg With Cash

I've been to Ezeiza several times. Seemed safe. Have you heard of a robbery outside of it as passengers walk out to their taxis/car rentals?

Ezeiza is safe but if you declare you have cash , no one knows what could happen......

I will be there tomorrow at 4am and the following Friday at 5am and I am not worried about my safety . But I will have no cash and I will have my RadioTaxi waiting for me . And the same driver I always have .

There have been a couple of cases where people were followed to their destinations from EZE.

Any one have experience in taking money INTO the states, over 10,000.? I'm selling my flat and I'm still not sure how to get the money out of the country.

Here's a guy robbed at Aeroparque airport in Palermo: http://baexpats.org/topic/32393-american-tourist-attacked-at-aeropoarque-recovers-backpack/page__hl__american
Check out the youtube video from just after it happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjmEsENkRc8

Extremely safe within the EZE airport. Hire a remis from Tienda Leon before you exit the airport.

A few years ago a Colombian criminal band was arrested. They worked at Ezeiza Airport, they would single out arriving passengers and their cars, they punctured a tire , when the vehicle stopped a few miles from the Airport on the Freeway, they would approach them and offer help. And proceed to rob them blind at gunpoint, luggage and all.
