Equivalent Of Tums

The best thing you can take is activated charcoal, just don't know where to find it. Antacids make GI problems worse longterm...
 
FYI, I do not know if this applies, but if you are pregnant you should not be taking activated charcoal.
 
They sell Tums in BA. One time I bought them at Staples and another time at the farmacia.

Is there a reason you are looking for a Tums equivalent instead of Tums? Like vtw said, it's sold here. I've been buying Tums from a few different Farmacities here for a few years.
 
I had just assumed that they did not exist here! I will try ask in Farmacity and see if i get lucky.
 
A word of caution on Acid Reflux, what burns is the esophagus, when you ingest a Calcium Carbonate tablet it goes right Thru, to protect the stomach, a thick liquid like Pepto Bismol or similar coats the esophagus, where the burning is....!!IMO
