Expats still here after five years?

If I could move I would.
But then, don't they always say that you take your troubles with you?

So what if "they" do (say that)?

Argentina will present you with an entirely new set of troubles.

Those that can cope will.

Those that can't will flee.

kudos to you Morgan. Me, 7 years 1 month. Came across my moving docs today, itineraries etc....seems like yesterday..no regrets, just lots of learning that I hope has made me a wonderfully loving mother and person and a kinder, less materialistic soul in the process.

I'm coming up on 5 years on July 5th, but it looks like life will be taking me elsewhere in the next few months...

First week of 2006. Unabashed perma-tourist. Collector of "Ultima Prorogas's". Bostero. For all the moaning we do about Argentina, for the money, still, there aren't many better places to be.

I am going on my 5th year. I have been through a lot of great times and hard times alike.......but am hooked.......I can't imagine leaving Argentina permanently for any other land.

I'll answer this one in 4 years and 9 months from now :) In the meantime I'm still here and loving it :)
