Any recommendations for cheap flight options between BA and Asuncion?

Yes.

Bus.

Search for Asunción on this site to read tales of cheap flights that were cancelled, delayed, diverted and escalated in cost so they weren't cheap anymore. For a fraction of the price you can bus cama or ejectivo, sleep overnight and wake up in the morning and you are there.

I am seeing GOL for $145 return,
Also if anyone is looking for LAX or SFO to EZE there are some good fares out there right now that can be tricked down to about $540 return, P.M. me and I can show you how to book the fare, better not to post the tricks as that can lead to there demise.

Kindly advise the website for booking the bus. The spanish name of the bus with the best seat etc. Thanks

Here's a schedule of all the departures and prices: http://www.omnilineas.com.ar/bus/retiro/asuncion-paraguay/

Here's Paraguay's front runner bus company and the definitions of comfort levels: http://www.nsa.com.py/pasajeros/pas_servicios.php

You will find telephone/internet booking links on most operators websites. Not all of them are set up for internet bookings, though.

The most common way to book a seat is to toddle on down to Retiro Bus Station, take a look at the different offers in the different ticket offices and buy it in person. All the ticket offices are upstairs at Retiro: the international operators are all down the far end. Having said that, NSA have an office out the back (or the front, depending on your point of view (I'm taking the bus bays as the front)) but I think that's just for encomiendas.
