I would advise people to stay far away from these sites. They are at worse promoting the extremist ideals of the sovereign movement and at best is a scam to separate people from their money.

Neither service is extremist. One could pick & choose what to implement. Everything talked about has to be legal. What kind of a business model would it be to recommend illegal things to your subscribers? It wouldn't exactly be good for renewals, would it?

Your FBI site is valid for those who do things in a foolhardy & 'extreme' fashion. That is what that site addresses -- not those who do things in an intelligent & legal manner. For eg., an American would be foolish not to declare taxes while abroad.

With the (still) decent value for the dollar (and other hard currencies) here, though, one could make the argument that Argentina is a great "flag" place to spend - especially if you like wine, cows, cheap land, polo ponies...

It is a great 'playground' flag.

There is a 99.9% chance that this website is not legit or worse. They don't care if their advice is legal or not they just want your money. When this is shut-down they will no doubt simply set-up another site. They don't care if you renew or not they realize there are always more suckers coming along. What they are doing is a variation on the asset protection scam that has been around for decades. Ooogabooga, do not give these crooks your hard earned money. Read the link below:

That's actually a good site. As with anything you have to do your own research and just use various sources (like that site) to get a total picture.

Just as you would get a second opinion before doing a surgical procedure...then have a more informed idea of what is reality.

Are you referring to escape artist or the one I am questioning Sovereign Life.
Escape artist is OK although a lot of it is marketing of real estate.

The guy had ran it for a few years without selling anything--just emailing free informative newsletters, and now sets up workshops and meets with subscribers in person at events around the world. It seems to have a strong community among its members.
I recommend everyone here at least sign up for the free news letters and browse some of the archives on the website. He wrote about Argentina a few times in past letters.

I just took a quick look and although the newsletter is free they offer a lot of stuff that isn't, including expensive seminars often held in Panama. This con-man is just another variation on the asset protection scams that have been around for decades.

It's possible that sovereignman's Panama seminar is a scam, but if most of them are, that doesn't prove that they all are.
I still recommend people take a look at the free letters that the guy writes as they are very informative. You don't even have to put yourself on "the sucker's list". The website itself has a ton of the letters posted on it for reading--just browse by subject or month.
