For the BsAs experts - motorcycle lessons

I've recently bought a bike (250cc) and can't find any driving schools. Seems they don't exist. The Honda and BMW ones insist you use their brand, apparently.
I agree with the others, finding an individual who would be prepared to help would be a start.
Which reminds me, I have to take the bike test here.
 
Not sure if this is off topic, but does anyone know if you can hire a bike here?
I ride an ST1100 at home, but I do not yet spend enough time in BsAs to justify me having a bike here.
 
There are a number of bike enthusiasts sites/forums for makes such as Mondial, Guerrero and Gilera where some have asked similar questions. You should be able to google them and some, not many speak English if that helps.

PS I've heard of some people hiring a bike to go to the test centre
