Argentina government thinks HSBC is helping more than 4000 Argentine clients to evade tax, letting them move their dinero to Swiss account, and HSBC has been denying it. (US government has accused them for the same) (HSBC business is pretty much helping wealthy people to have accounts at different part of the world and so their clients can move their money around the globe). AFIP said the amount involved is about 3.5 billion dollars. (looks like there are plenty wealthy Argies here)

The government asks HSBC to fire the Argentina CEO Gabriel Martinom, and paused some of their services. Finally HSBC did, got 2 new executives and fired the CEO.
