Go to the site of the Centro Cultural Kirchner -- www.cck.gob.ar

SELECT - programmacion

SELECT - MUSICA

SCROLL DOWN to bottom and SELECT VER TODO PROGRAMACION

you will see the CALENDARIO for the current month

the next concert is August 24 at 20 hs. but tickets are not available until Tuesday of the week.

SELECT - reserve entrada

Enter your name, phone, DNI and email address (limit of two tickets)

They send you an email confirming your reservation. Pick up tickets before the concert with the confirmation number and your DNI.

I did this process a few days ago when I reserved a ticket for the jazz concert tomorrow. Here is the email I received.

Las entradas gratuitas pueden retirarse con su Nro. de Reserva por Sarmiento 151 de martes a viernes de 12 a 18h, hasta dos horas hábiles antes de la función. En caso de que no puedas asistir, podrá retirar las entradas la persona que hayas registrado como acompañante, junto con la presentación de su DNI.

Por favor en caso de que quieras cancelar tu reserva, envíanos un Mail con tu Nro. de Reserva a: [email protected]

There is no way to obtain tickets in advance for the series. Check the site on the first day of the month for the current schedule. Then each week if you want to reserve tickets.

When the CCK opened, people lined up two hours before a concert and got tickets at the counter. Many were turned away. Then they used phone calling for reservations. It was a disaster. Now it's automated and efficient.

Outdoors (weather permitting) a fully restored version of it and with a live orchestra.

Jantango, Do you know the date of the next National Symphony concert? I had hoped to attend one this month but there was no information at the end of August and when I checked the concert was over and no other scheduled for the month. Any NS concerts in October that you know of? Thanks

If you use the directions above in post 133, you will find the listing. That is exactly what I did to answer your question and found the following information for symphony concerts at Centro Cultural Kirchner.

Next Wednesday and Friday concerts - Sinfonica Nacional

Not sure if I did this correctly. I requested a ticket in my name and then returned and requested a second ticket in my name. Didn't know how to request two tickets at the same time. Is this OK? I have printed these out.
