From Boston to BA...

Hi everyone,

I arrived here on Wednesday for a nearly 4 month stay. I have a sweet little apartment in Las Canitas and am slowly beginning to explore my neighborhood and beyond. I have one friend in the city (someone I haven't seen in 40 years!) but I'd love to meet more people. In the states, I live in Boston & New Hampshire; I'm a cartoonist, writer and blogger, and teach for the Union Institute & University in their online BA program. I'm here to learn Spanish (right now it's horrible) and stare at my navel. If anyone would like to meet for coffee or something next week, I'd love to. And I'm a huge NFL fan (boo hoo Patriots) so I'm looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl.

Welcome to my beloved Buenos Aires!

I know about two bars that play american games
- El Alamo, half a block from Avenida Santa Fe, in Barrio Norte neighbourhood.
- Sugar, Costa Rica street, between Armenia and Guatemala streets (Palermo Soho). This one is like 20-25 blocks from where you live.
