Anyone been to the Biopark in Escobar?

Worth spending the day with the family?
 
I agree, it's a very nice park and the animals are well cared for as far as zoos go. I went about 8 years ago... I imagine that's still the case.
 
+1, was there last year and enjoyed it. Pretty sure your family will have a good time there.
 
A lot better than the utterly miserable Palermo animal jail they call the "Zoológico de Buenos Aires". When I went with my 3 year old son, he asked me why the elephant was so sad. Temaiken is at least a bit more respectful of their habitat.
 
It is fantastic. I was last there in June. It is the only good zoo in Argentina. A zoologist who worked at the Palermo Zoo and later Temaiken told me that it is the best zoo in Latin America. The aviary is the latest addition and very well done. Try to go on a weekday and not during holidays. Highly recommended.
