fuzzi logic washing mahine

Does anyone knows what a fuzzi logic system is, I bought a Toshiba washing machine that is fuzzi logic for a flat I have rented but have no idea what this system is like, any explanation....thanks in advance

Very brief illustration of the principle: If you set the machine to wash at 30 celtigrades, the fuzzy logic - instead of turning the heat on at 29.99 celtigrades and off at 30.01 - turns on when the temperature is somewhere below 30, and off somewhere above 30.
