RobinsonGO- thanks for the encouragement. At least I can have some peace of mind knowing I'm already doing pretty much all I can at this point. Likewise keep me posted if you come across any source for friendly predator insects, neem oil, etc. Today as a last ditch experimental effort I tried spraying the bottom of the leaves with no-stick cooking oil in a can. As I understand it, oil suffocates the eggs, and I haven't got much to lose at this point, the plants are pretty much toast.

I got a lovely Thai Basil and other Thai Herbs to share if anyone interest. it enjoy a strong light, doesn't have to be a direct one. There are great for all type of cooking especially Thai.
