Giving up on my iPhone 13

And now we're back to talking about dinosaurs. Try borrowing a 20W Apple-recommended iPhone charger from someone instead of relying on that 11-year-old 5W charger. See if it resolves your issues.
I'm using the newer iPhone 13 charger for both phones. That's one Apple missed: it is the same port for both models, eight years apart.

Unlike its Air machines, with different charge ports every couple of years. Designed to force suckers like me to buy new chargers or their exclusive, fiendishly expensive adapters.

You buy a laptop, it comes with a charger.

Apple kept Lightning ports on iPhone as long as possible just so you could retain your charger between phones. Then the EU came in and started demanding USB-C on all devices.

> Opinions, please

I'd think hard before switching mobile operating systems because of a charging problem. They're not as 1:1 as you might think.

That aside, isn't hardware expensive here?

Probably your charging issue can easily be fixed, possibly even just by cleaning the port.

I cleaned the port three times, as instructed in YouTube videos - still not charging.

Currently waiting for the wireless charger I bought in the US.

Hi!
Have you tried this?
You'll need to be logged-in (using your apple ID). Once you choose "battery option" they will give you some tips (which I guess you already followed). But they also show a list you can browse, with all the authorized dealers to fix the phone in case it needs to be repaired. Besides, you can make an appointment to visit them directly from the page (day and time).
