Hi guys,

Would love your suggestions for a stellar BsAs dining experience? I've got guests in town and want to take them somewhere good - can be a bit on the expensive side.

BTW - someone on this site recommended Estancia Margarita and it was amazing. About 4 hours south in Tapalque. Highly suggest it for an out of town visit....

If you like multi-course tasting menus (+ wine pairings) of very good quality, my choice would be Paraje Arevalo and Aramburu. Both on the more expensive side for BsAs, but comparably cheap to international standards.

I once were invited to Lola, the best restaurant in Argentina, at least up to Palermo and Puerto Madero were created. It still has a lot of prestige. The one thing I remember liking most was the acoustics, I remember watching people on the next table talking, watching their moths moving, but no hearing a single word.

It is very expensive though.

Expensive? US$50~$100 per person ? Or much higher?

Re Lola-- if you're talking about the one in Recoleta it is long gone. Closed about two years ago!

Didnt know that :(
I thoght they were still working, since they didnt make any change in the building.

Supposed to be Numero 1 in Argentina.
