Anyone with the Dollars and enjoying the Argentina livings, must all feel very content. The higher the US Dollars the better in order to combat the ferocious Argentinean inflation for all the Expats living there I believe.
Argentina's black market peso hits low as controls tightened

(Reuters) - Argentina's black market peso slid 5.5 percent to close at a record low against the dollar on Wednesday due to further government controls aimed at keeping dollars in the country, traders said.

The informal peso, which is measured by Reuters, ended at 8.70/8.75 per dollar, bringing the difference with the official exchange rate to 71.7 percent.

It's quite stressful for people having to deal with the black market. With such a discrepancy between official and unofficial rates, one can barely afford not to put one's welfare at risk! Those who have already been in armed robberies and muggings understand the risks.

i think the Argies who have money abroad are just as happy, the only ones who are suffering are the poor, middle class and expats who work for pesos.

Expats should not get too excited, everything is relative the same to dollars.
At blue rate, the price is relative stable for dollar holders, but it sucks for
the locals who can't get a raise according the true inflation rate. These are
the real victims of the inflation, that means 60% of the Argies ?

We are. It's a certainly a nice change from 09-11 when we were getting shafted with 30%inflation and a stagnant dollar.

I feel really sorry for middle class argentines though.
