In fact, some students prefer to change their teachers because they think the exposure to other accents and different styles will help them improve quicker. This seems to be something a lot of students think probably because the English companies have been pitching this marketing spin for a long time. That way they don´t look bad when they change their teachers so often. People start and quit teaching gigs every few months it seems.
Again, there are exceptions. Very hard to find though.
