Just wondering on the possible challenges and costs? whether you have to pay import costs on household items/ furniture even in you are moving within mecrosur? and if moving with a pet incurs the same rules as an international move? Any advice - let me know, Thanks,
 
It's exactly what I want to do but significant other says, "no". :(
 
I would love to, but my husband says you can only make money in January and December, that Punta del Este is dead the rest of the year.
 
While it's true that the coast is dead during low season, remember that you always have Montevideo. I absolutely loved living there. If I had to choose between living in BA or living in Montevideo again, I'd definitely choose the latter.
