Hi, This has probably been covered before but how easy/difficult is it for somebody on a tourist visa to obtain travel insurance in Argentina? I plan on staying in BA for at least 1 year on a tourist visa.

Yes MrBart, if you do a SEARCH on here you will find various topics about health insurance that are very helpful.
If you have no pre-existing condition and in very good health, it is very easy to get coverage; it is also much cheaper if you are in the younger age bracket and a non-smoker.
Just be prepared for constant increase in cost, it has been the norm lately. Good luck!
