I don't really like English cheddar all that much. I greatly prefer the California cheddar, which I do miss greatly.

Oh, and for the record, the H Perez on Maipu, two blocks south of Cordoba, makes a pretty good Argentine version of a bacon double-cheeseburger. It's currently 440 pesos with fries, but that price is of course subject to change. You might want to ask them to omit the pickles. I have no knowledge of the other location, and do not vouch for it.

And the SanCor Fontina they sell at Carrefour Express seems to be a pretty good substitute for Swiss cheese
