How do people here afford McDonalds/Burger King?

I agree, I saw way more overweight people in the States, but I'd say the people were thinner in London than here although it's getting worse.

Actually, you can, if you buy BigMac combos.
But that's not the point. We argentinians don't eat at McDonalds or Burguer King on a daily basis. Not even on a weekly basis.
For fast food we have panchos, choripan, or beef sandwiches, and they are much cheaper.
