I usually go to locutorios or other shops where they have a Correo Argentino. That way I avoid lines. If the letter is important, pay for certified mail. Postage is quite expensive. During my years here the Post Office went from state run to private back to state run. After the return to state control prices went up - so much for the argument that the private sector overcharges everybody. Not in this case.
