Hurricane party

I came back to Argentina last week and was loving the nice weather!! til today...Coming from West Palm Beach whenever we had weather like this we threw a Hurricane Party. It's nasty nasty out there!! Is anyone doing anything fun while the storm passes?

Argentines don´t go out when it rains. We were going to have a get together and everyone just cancelled on us. (My husband is the exception, he did tramites today and is getting his hair cut to take advantage of less people being around).

I can hear the wind howling fiercely and the windows rattling. i'm wrapped in a fleece blanket and have just opened a bottle of wine. ahhhhhh this is all the party i need!

i took advantage of the weather, went to the gym, pool and shopping centre, all were empty. Argentines don't go out when it rains... in fact we are lucky if half the pupils of my school turn up if it is raining...
