I Won't Drink To That

I'm wondering if there is fluoride in BA tap water?

Peronist xenophobia, apparently, does not match Bircher levels: "Much of the early work on establishing the connection between fluoride and dental health was performed by scientists in the USA during the early 20th century, and the USA was the first country to implement public water fluoridation on a wide scale.[sup][16][/sup] It has been introduced to varying degrees in many countries and territories outside the U.S., including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Spain, the UK, and Vietnam."

Matías, though, objects on principle.

Of all the things in the drinking water that I'm concerned about, flouride is fairly low on the list. I used to live in San Telmo, and if I'd have the tap water, I'd inevitably have a case of the runs soon after.

Do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk, ice cream? Ice cream, Mandrake? Children's ice cream!...You know when fluoridation began?...1946. 1946, Mandrake. How does that coincide with your post-war Commie conspiracy, huh? It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual, and certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works. I first became aware of it, Mandrake, during the physical act of love... Yes, a profound sense of fatigue, a feeling of emptiness followed. Luckily I — I was able to interpret these feelings correctly. Loss of essence. I can assure you it has not recurred, Mandrake. Women, er, women sense my power, and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid women, Mandrake...but I do deny them my essence.

It's not the fluoride you need to worry about here, but I often worry about the dead rat in the holding tank on the roof.

Better than the Canadian tourists you get in California http://edition.cnn.com/2013/06/20/us/california-water-tank-death/
