Immigration process through U.S. Embassy in BA?

Hi,
My boyfriend and I are going to get married here in Argentina. Have any of you married guys from here and gone through the immigration process at the U.S. Embassy to get him into the USA? Is it a long and tedious process??? If you have all the documents they require,, approximately how long does it take?
