The blue rate in January 2023 was around 350...you are quoting the official rate...the official rate can't be used to determine inflation in Argentina.
You can download the app called: dollar blue hoy. With it there is a graph feature and you can make any calculation you would like. Just remember inflation in a country is not measured by exchange rate pairs fluctuations.
Yup. Not the inflation rate for 2022! And also why I love my peso denominated rental with only a 15% quarterly mark-up...while getting paid in dollars. I am however sad for the Argentine people that are paid in pesos...it's ugly since the pay increases do not keep pace with inflation.
I've been meaning to create a "basket" of food to quarterly measure the food inflation rate and see what is happening in real time against both the peso and dollar...I imagine it might be interesting...at least to me, lol.
