Any recommendation re international schools in buenos aires? (2-5 grade)
Also, is there a site for information about apartment rentals in Bsas? What is a reasonable cost for rental of a 2-3 bedroom apt in the city?
Thanks a million

There are only two international schools: BAICA and Lincoln School. Both in Zona Norte. Both follow the US calendar. Most ofter schools that have some English language instruction are bilingual, not international, and offer the official Ministry of Education curriculum in Spanish and an English program as well. In these schools students are overwhelmingly Argentine.

If you want to be in the city proper and not in an American school, Belgrano Day School is an excellent bilingual school. There are many other excellent schools in that neighborhood (Belgrano R) as well. A search on this site will pull up years of recommendations.

The person who originated the question needs to clarify their needs. If someone is coming for a short stay it could be hard to adjust to a bilingual school with half the classes in Spanish, perhaps no international students and a different style - bilingual schools tend to have large classes (thirty or more), require uniforms etc.

This question gets asked every couple of weeks. Try searching the forums. Good luck!
