IPhone 10 to BA

I have been out of BA about 6 months now. I have heard that Macri is making lots of changes.

I will return to BA in a month and a friend is asking for a new Apple Iphone.

Is it now permitted to bring this into Argentina undeclared?

Or do items such as this still need to be declared and taxes paid?

AFAIK the landing card, in Spanish and English, still requires that you declare: cash, if you are carrying USD10,000 or more; goods, if you are carrying USD300 or more; cellphone details.
