Dear friends,
as many of you may already, 2 other co hosts and I have a weekly radio program in English(the only one in Argentina) every Monday at 1500 on Radio Palermo 94.7 FM called The Typical Mistake. This upcoming Monday's program will be with an Iranian film maker doing a film here in Buenos Aires along with another Iranian recently married to an Argentine as well as my observations from a recent month's trip to Iran in December, 2013.
It should prove to be an interesting show so if you are home and off work due to the holiday, please tune in.
Esteban

Will you ask your guests for predictions for the world cup match? :D

It will be played with a round ball, probably black & white.
The players will kick the ball up and down the field.
There will be at least one truly spectacular cabesaso.
Each game will be accompanied by a great deal of shouting, screaming, cursing, and other nekulturny behavior.

Those are my World Cup predictions; remember you heard it here first!

There will be traffic deaths as listening drivers fall asleep at the wheel.

I've got a Persian amiga who will be in town in about 10 days, but I don't intend to let you or your co-hosts anywhere near her.

Oh, Persian women are truly special. I had an Iranian GF years ago, before the Revolution. Shahnaz was something amazing.
(/me stares vacantly into space with stupid grin)

On an only vaguely related topic, if you have not read Whirlwind by James Clavell, you're missing a superb novel. Not quite as good as Sho-Gun but better than Gai-Jin.
