How about a fourth site just for those who are not expats, don't live in Argentina, and apparently don't have anything better to do than try to dominate this forum with more than 5000 one line posts (many of which have been irrelevant, insipid or insulting) in two years (with a record of over sixty posts in two days)?

If that's the case, how about a fifth site for devotees of hack novelists that fancy themselves better than so-called "collectivists," but readily sacrifice their principles to take advantage of pragmatic programs like Medicare and Social Security? (Such people's "philosophy" is self-parody, deserving no more consideration than one-liners).

We really do not need another one of those, and the most important/official one already has a geographical subsection with very few members in these Pampas

Why bother splitting it at all? It just is. It's the internet. People will do whatever they do on the internet. Seems pretty straightforward and not even worth the bother.

If folks want to troll each other and carry on back and forth then so be it. Unless of course it impacts bandwidth which wouldn't really change by splitting the site into two either way.

What would be really cool is if everyone acted like adults and discussed differences instead of attacking each other all the time. Hell, this forum sometimes looks like US politics: split down the middle of two parties on issues with neither side willing to realize that trying to make other people feel the way they do (or vote for what they want) by attacking the other, or forcing them into the same mold, doesn't do anything for anyone. And here I am (recognizing that I'm not the only one) far off from either "left" or "right" wishing there was some semblance of sanity in the world

I see a bunch of people insulting each other and talking past each other without any real effect on anyone except raising ire. But this is pretty much a model of real world interactions it seems. The only difference is nothing here is binding and we are all free to associate or not as we wish. Too bad the real world isn't so easy. Also too bad people can't be civil to one another in such an easy place to congregate.

Peace doesn't come from segregation. Peace comes from acceptance of differences and a cessation of forcing one's point of view on another. Too bad the real world doesn't recognize this either. :wacko:
