Is the Argentine Economy Going to Collapse?

You misspelt the last word, adding a redundant letter.

Now that's funny, you mean-spirited hater!

(I lived in Utah for 15 years.)

What about Brits with good teeth?

They're lovable when (and if) they smile (sometimes a wee bit difficult with ye ol' stiff upper lip).

Steve, I didn't know you cared. My stiff upper lip is quivering.

Im suprised that the USA citizens do not get angry about all the corruption in their own country ie BERNARD MADDOF WHERE IS THE 50 BILLION DOLLARS AND WHY IS THERE NO CONSPIRACY CASE . PLEASE AS IF HE DID THIS HIMSELF?
Add e.g. the second Iraq war and Haliburton getting contracts w/o licitacíon (public tender?) = George double-P + family + friends, and Rumsfeld was on ABB board during nuclear deal with North Korea - the Rummy creepo taking part in selling nuclear plants to NK - nice! http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/index.html?siteSect=105&sid=1648385

I thought it was about Argentina

The recent payment of the Boden 2012 bonds should give you a good idea for what's in store for 2010 and 2011. Argentina did use the reserves for about half the payment. This is a clear sign that Argentina can't afford to pay the depth-payments without tapping into the reserves.

Argentina needs to pay around 20 milion dollar in 2010 so that should mean that Argentina need to tap the foreign reserves and the peso will continue to slide

Even with the import-restrictions(Electronics are next with a 30% tax) they cant keep a healthy balance

So you believe Argentinians have a standard of living equivalent to the US - take a look around you.
Like the homeless freezing to death, and those who would be starving to death w/o soup kitchens in e.g. NY?

Why don't the lazy bastards take one of the jobs, that don't exist?

Op-Ed article in NY Times today:

"The official monthly unemployment rate ticked down from 9.5 percent to 9.4 percent."

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/11/opinion/11herbert.html?th&emc=th

- that percentage includes neither jobless with more than 1 year of "experience" nor those considered out of work for the rest of their lives.

Reality check:

The Gini coefficient (year 2008) for the US ranked #44 of 135 countries (135 most equal, 1 most inequal), in close contest with other first world (?) countries

Country Index
Jamaica 45.5
Uruguay 45.2
United States 45.0
Cameroon 44.6
Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory coast) 44.6

Country comparison to the world: #45 in 2007 and #44 in 2008

#27 Argentina 49.00 January-March 2007 - worse by 4.00 points.

Source: CIA World Factbook =
https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2172rank.html?countryName=United%20States&countryCode=us&regionCode=na&rank=44#us

"While most developed European nations and Canada tend to have Gini indices between 24 and 36, the United States' and Mexico's Gini indices are both above 40, indicating that the United States and Mexico have greater inequality." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gini_coefficient#Income_Gini_indices_in_the_world

The US in general is OK, especially the nice and friendly inhabitants, but some improvement is possible, in particular when you have neo-con administrations with their feet planted solidly in thin air.

Obama is obviously an idiot - which sane person would want to take over the wreck from George double-P?
