Isis To Argentina: “We’Re Coming To See You”

Does anyone ask themselves WHY?

Why would ISIS aim at Argentina, who has no participation in any of the SUPPOSED wars on terror, why would they come after Argentina unless its all a big staged play with all the worlds leaders acting so they can impose draconian laws to control the plebs!

Must be why Angela Merkel cleverly arranged for her party to lose two major elections and get knocked out of Germany's governing coalition because she wouldn't change her position on immigration?

World leaders aren't any smarter than we are, and we're pretty dumb.

Perhaps ISIS wants to pick up where Hezbollah (allegedly) left off in 1994 after the bombing of the AMIA (Argentine Israelite Mutual Association) in Buenos Aires, two years after the bombing of the Israeli Embassy: https://www.idfblog....ld-cant-forget/

It seems rather ironic that the Lebanese Hezbollah movement actually began to fight ISIS last year to protect their own border: http://english.alara...on-border-.html

PS: I wonder how many expats will click on the first link in this post and read about the 1992 and 1994 attacks for the first time.

ISIS will not "aim" at Argentina. They will (if not already) use this as a way-point for people, materials, and money.

Argentina is a soft target. No security.
As for this being an "interesting" place for investment (comment on this thread), Sunday's Herald reports that there has been a lot of praise for Argentina from investors but so far no investment. Investors are not convinced yet.

As an organized movement perhaps not, but it only takes one self-radicalized "extremest" who previously might have appeared to be "normal" to go on a stabbing spree.

With a US passport this "normal American kid" could easily have entered Argentina if he had the desire and the resources to come here.

That would be possible but I see no motivation for an attack here. In the eyes of ISIS Argentina is politically insignificant.

As long as there are Christians and Jews in Argentina, the country will be a target, even if only to a handful of zealots...or their children...or their grand-children.

"ISIS makes no secret of its ultimate ambition: A global caliphate secured through a global war. To that end it speaks of "remaining and expanding" its existing hold over much of Iraq and Syria. It aims to replace existing, man-made borders, to overcome what it sees as the Shiite "crescent" that has emerged across the Middle East, to take its war -- Islam's war -- to Europe and America, and ultimately to lead Muslims toward an apocalyptic battle against the "disbelievers."

"ISIS sees itself as coming to the rescue of Muslim minorities the world over. "We won't enjoy life until we liberate the Muslims everywhere, and until we retrieve Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and regain Al-Andalus (Andalucia in Spain), and conquer Rome," Adnani said in 2013."

There are plenty of Christians and Jews in Chile, Brazil and Uruguay.
