I'm guessing you haven't seen the actual video. US media have published some confusing video that shows nothing but a bunch of heads. PressTV had the courage to publish the one video that shows the African-American guard shooting the Caucasian woman, and the race issue is probably why the US media won't show it. This whole business is being spun very hard, Aztangogirl, and it's worth asking ourselves why.

The window was cracked but intact, and she wasn't crawling anywhere; she was just standing there. She was murdered in cold blood.But look for yourself -

And if you watch the video to the end, you see there are already cops on the victim's side of the door. Indeed most of the crowd are "journalists" with cameras and phones. This shooting was totally gratuitous and unnecessary.

Yes, I saw that video. I feel that the shooting was not very unnecessary. Perhaps the capitol police were very scared and nervous. After the shooting, the "mob" all left. I would say she was murdered. But that was a very high risk place though, anyone there was having the risk being shot in the face. Sad for her and for many people.

The Director of National Intelligence about 3 months ago released the handwritten notes of John Brennan, Obama's CIA director, from when he briefed Obama and Comey before Trump's inauguration in 2016. The CIA had gathered credible information that the Clinton campaign had started the whole Russian collusion narrative to take focus off of her email server scandal. Brennan didn't deny this but rather got angry that they released his notes and politicized his work. So the country was put through all of that garbage to protect Hillary. Democrats like to heap scorn on Trump and his supporters but at the end of the day they nominated a crook in Clinton in 2016 and a crook in Biden in 2020. Surely you can do better?

What I saw (and for the record, no background to analyze this beyond my own eyes) does not support what you are saying at all.

The officer was covering the door with his gun. You see a rapid movement that is an evident response to something the officer saw. He is *not* firing his gun in the exact direction he was pointing it before.

And as the camera shifts to the victim, you see her fall back from the door, which she was clearly in the process of scaling:

Say what you will about the officer being justified in using deadly force or not (would probably need another angle on that video). But she was definitely not “just standing there”.

About the supposed suppression of the video - last I checked the US MSM were not in the habit of showing violent deaths. Like it or not, that is a fact.

Riots and destruction of private property is bad and should be vehemently condemned by everyone. But storming the US capitol building [with partial complacency from capitol police and the support of some politicians] puts it on a very different league. The difference in gravity is in orders of magnitude. Had the BLM/Antifa tried to do the same as what the MAGA folks did on January 6th, they would have been gunned down on the steps of the capitol building and Trump would have declared martial law.

I don't have any dog on this fight, since I dislike both sides of the isle. But in my eyes, what happened January 6th was an attempted coup. It was sedition in its most clear and naked form.
