"It Might Be Time To Get Out Of Argentina"

Well for some of us it is family. I have thought about going back to the states which I would utterly loathe even more than this. My wife is pure Spanish not very tall, dark skin, black hair, dark eyes, and broken English. I am sure most of the retarded Americans would think she is Mexican, not that there is anything at all wrong with being Mexican.

I can see it now some retarded Drump bonehead insults my wife for speaking Spanish or being Latin and I just bash his head in. Pick up the shopping cart up and pound the daylights of them. Off to jail, I go! Thanks but no thanks!

Calm Down Pensador. I get worried for you, when you are nervous.

I routinely speak Spanish with a number of people when I am in the US and I have NEVER experienced any hostility. Ironically it is native Spanish speakers who sometimes object - they want to speak English. Other times I am astonished at just how many people in the US hear Spanish being spoken and respond in Spanish. I don't think that the general population is hostile to Spanish speakers - and I agree that no-one should be ashamed of "looking like" a Mexican.

Yea.... Odd Thing to say coming from an American .... or is he Argentinian ????

I am American and the social media, videos, news etc I have seen concerning certain peoples reactions to people with brown skin, Latin looking, or Latin looking and speaking Spanish is disconcerting, to say the least. My own mother has told not to bring my wife there. Heavy Trump territory! I can also see why native Spanish speakers would want to speak English if they had seen some of the things that have gone on up there or perhaps even experienced some of it.

I understand these are isolated incidences but for everyone that gets noticed, I am sure there are more. I would not want to be involved in such an encounter with my Latin wife. My reaction would not be mild.

I have also personally received degrading emails about Latin life and culture from Americans that know I live here.

All of that and not to mention the atrocities and what I would consider to be crimes against humanity at the border.

My Trumpster tolerance is very very low. Fortunately, there are none here I have encountered.

That being the case I will stay here gladly.

There he goes again ....... Anti American

I am not Anti-American, to put it bluntly! As it is obvious that the majority of Americans are not conducting themselves in these ways. You cannot label or be anti any group of people based on the actions of a minority within that group. I am however anti-racism and pro-human rights.
