This may be old news, as I don't frequent fast food places. However, about 2 months ago I saw that KFC (at least in Moron) has a few specials on Wednesdays. At that time, an 8 piece bucket with 2 popcorn chickens was 40% off. Yesterday the discount was 49%. Including delivery, it cost $24K and the bucket even had 10 pieces of chicken (ordering at off-times, they will sometimes throw in extra even in the U.S.).

There are other Wednesday specials too. Something to keep in mind if you're jonesing for fried chicken.

Why not? Thanks for the idea!

I'll tell you why not!

The chickens are unnaturally fast-growing industrial food chickens, meaning each chicken is only about 45 days old.

E900a is a favorite additive. It's is a non-food-grade chemical: polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), a synthetic silicone-based polymer also known as 'Silly Puddy.'

Sorry to be the party pooper but I hate that these crap American fast food places are importing gross food and obesity.

And not only for people's health, but it's so wonderful that Buenos Aires is one of the few mega world cities that is not overrun with American corporate chains.

Okay... okay... I checked with the Colonel Sanders. He said you can pay full price.

Sheeesh! Why is there so much venom on this board lately??? (rhetorical eh).

Can’t be me, I only started posting again at the weekend.

But otherwise I agree with La Guachita.

Frank, unimportantly, I don't quite understand what it is that you're agreeing with here:

-fast-growing chickens are 45 days old? perhaps. And?
-PDMS is a synthetic silicone-based polymer? true. And?
-crap American fast food places that are importing gross food? (matter of opinion but please do not pass me the domestic mollejas) ...and obesity? (importing obesity, seriously?)
-Buenos Aires is one of the few mega world cities that is not overrun with American corporate chains? BA is 3rd world AND full of U.S. food chains

Sarcasm aside, fried foods will never be considered health food. It is simple - don't want it, don't buy it or make it. For those who occasionally do, I gave a bit of peso-saving information, nothing more. That should not provoke vitriol, AI or otherwise ;=)

Odd, I've never heard fried chicken called a goy food. What is goy food, anyway? I know plenty of goyim who eat latkes, Reubens, bagels... Hey, wait...I am one! And no Jew ate fried chicken ever, right?

Please, take a minute to give me some insight into the mind that came up with that one.
