Has anyone here done a renovation on an apartment around 100 m²? I’m especially curious what people paid for the kitchen.

If you’re willing to share, I’d love to see before/after photos and hear which contractor you used. Any details on cost breakdowns would really help.

Thanks in advance for any input!

It depends on the level of renovations and your tastes. I've renovated 4 apartment units so far, ranging from 60 M2 to 20 M2. Some needed mild restoration, some extensive repairs. I just finished renovating one my apartment units for rent (20 M2). It required removing 2 large old windows, resizing the two walls, custom aluminum windows and installation. Stapling a wall fissure, new stove, range extractor, kitchen cabinetry, some tile, fixing humidity damage to walls, extending some gas pipes, new gas heater, replacing some bathroom tiles, replacing bathroom sink, replacing electrical outlets, installing a new one, so on and so on. Total was $8,806.31, parts and labor.

May be useful as a reference for kitchen remodeling.

it can vary widely. There are $500 ovens and $5000 ovens.
In old buildings, you will always find unexpected surprises in terms of wiring and plumbing.
the more you can manage yourself, the cheaper it will be-
If you research and buy your own appliances, sink, grifferia, select tile and cabinets in advance, the job will go faster and with less unforseen markkups.
You can go to a wide range of kitchen cabinet builders, from ones who snap together ikea like particle board, to ones that build custom with the best materials- but if you go, design what you want, pick out drawer slides and materials and finishes, you get what you want at a lower price.
countertops will be a different vendor, ranging from plastic to real stone.
both cabinet and stone vendors will install their own products.
I would budget a minimum of $10,000, myself. I have been in $100,000 kitchens here, but thats pretty extreme. But if you insist on imported appliances, with all the electronics, that can run 5 to 8 thousand USD just for fridge stove and dishwasher, for LG and the like.
I suggest Rodo as a good place to shop for appliances, they carry a lot of brands, have good prices, and deliver.
We bought a made in Argentina Morelli horno (oven/cooktop) and it sells for about 900,000 pesos now, solid metal, totally repairable, no circuit boards or plastic- we love it. But you can spend less, or more. there are 5 million peso korean fridges, and then there are off brand ones for under a million.
