Leaving to Europe with pesos

Not wanting to hijack the thread (no sense making a new one), it'll be quick though.
What about when touring neighboring countries to Argentina and wanting to exchange AR pesos of something under $500US or so into local currency while in places such as Chile, Bolivia, Brasil, Uruguay? Should be possible, yes?
If receiving a payment in AR pesos the day of departure of Argentina, not really possible to hit Av Florida. Besides, only know of $, € and BrR from the cambio workers there.

Dear friends from Argentina are visiting me in Italy. When they arrived , they inquired at the Rome airport about changing some Argentina pesos. They were told that they had already changed their quota for the week and could not take any more pesos. Not sure how much that is , but be aware that you may not be able to change all you want irregardless of the exchange rate.
