I worked in SBASE(Subtes de Buenos Aires) most subway lines are life threatening. According to inside information many years ago an engineer decided that the electric cables were too close for confort beside the water hydrants(for fighting fires) so for many years now no water is available for turning out any fires. Thus in case of fire many areas can become one giant oven. Argentine culture is known for not preparing for anything.

Considering Line H which was recently built has office aircon units pumping hot air into the platforms (not to mention every other station appears to have aircon exhaust pumping hot air into the stations.) i wonder if they'll ever fix the tunnels/stations so the aircon in the trains can be used!

They also only have 1 bar coming down in the middle instead of the newer split bar style.

Could have included tv's to make some extra $$$ with ads or something too.
