Living in Argentia

Looking for advice. Plan to travel to Argentina in April of next year. Want to stay at least 30 days. Seeking a house with at least 2 bedrooms to rent. Don't know the area, but not looking for the high tourist area. If I decide I enjoy Aregentina I would like tp purchase a house and retire.

Any advice would help, never been to Argentia.

Best option rent a 2-bedroom Airbnb apt. in Palermo or Recoleta. During your stay decide where you would like to buy . Best option for a first timer, without Spanish command ?

One thing to remember- the highest tourist area in all of Argentina, which is probably Palermo, gets at most 1/10th the amount of tourists that Washington DC gets, and 1/20th or so the amount that NYC gets per annum.
So almost every other area of Argentina has very tiny amounts of tourists compared to pretty much any european or north american city.
Tourism certainly exists here, but day to day, its possible to live in about 99% of the country and never see a tourist.
