i know that i'll be taking my life into my own hands but i hate public transportation. is anyone looking to get rid of a used bike? cuz i'm looking to acquire one..

I'm not selling my bike, because I realized that I'm re hipster when I ride it, but here are a couple of bike stores that often have used bikes. (Two locations of the same store.)
I will say, make sure you send a local first, because I would think that they would take advantage of your extranjera-ness in a heartbeat.

I'd also suggest checking out Craigslist & Mercado Libre (Argie eBay).
