Macri to implement price controls: Let's Do The Timewarp Again

Nobel Prize-winning economist (and economic advisor to Hillary Clinton campaign) Joseph Stiglitz, quoted in Venezuela Analysis, October 11, 2007 ("Joseph Stiglitz, in Caracas, Praises Venezuela's Economic Policies"):

Venezuela's economic growth has been very impressive in the last few years. . . . Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez appears to have had success in bringing health and education to the people in the poor neighborhoods of Caracas, to those who previously saw few benefits of the countries oil wealth.

He talks about Chavez, not Maduro, right?

And Macri did absolutely nothing to change that. If anything, he doubled down on this approach. I think on his pea sized brain, he thought that international investors would just fall in love with his bright blue eyes, and pour dollars into Argentina's economy as is, without the need for any fundamental reforms, allowing him to finance his budget deficits.
When that did not happen, he was left with his bare naked ass hanging outside the window, and he does not know what else do.
I came to the conclusion that the fundamental problem in Argentina is not ideological. It is not Left vs. Right or Socialism vs. Capitalism. The main issue here is the fundamental lack of elemental moral decency and ethics on everyone. Macri and Cristina are nothing but a reflection of a society broken and rotten to its very core.
Some posting comments here need to dust off their pics of the ladrona christina so they can be hung properly in public toilets.

I concur with camberiu's view. Argentina's spectacular failure, for a country of unrivalled resources, goes beyond the political: it's essentially a moral and ethical crisis, deeply rooted above all in the Argentine middle class.

It's interesting how anyone who goes against the US propaganda machine's narrative is a "paid shill"

What a great choice of words....Shill: A person engaged in covert advertising. The shill attempts to spread buzz by personally endorsing the product in public forums with the pretense of sincerity, ... Amazing
