Maduro Wins Venezuela's Election With 51% Of Votes

They should go to a boxing match between Maduro and Capriles... the winner takes all , Like in Troy war Aquiles and Menealao (Poor Patroclo)

or just recount the votes and award whoever won the presidency... problem is they've destroyed some of them already so they'll just have to have another election.

Cristina asks for Obama to recognise Maduro

Chavez lost the referendum for the change on the constitution for 30.000 votes and he didn t ask for a recount.

Now they used the same system and Capriles lost by over 300.000 votes.

Perhaps Chavez didn't want people to know what the recount would reveal.

Just sayin'...

For a real re-count, Capriles has to make a legal presentation at the electors Court. He didn't do it. I wonder why?

He was in jail remember? Because he was part of the coup attemp.

So, why suddenly he is going to become somebody who respects democracy?

Ballot fraud would be hard since it's an electronic vote system that gives a paper ballot too. The electoral commission recounted (AFAIK) 54% of the electronic votes.

It's hard to be really well informed about this election. For instance, many newspapers tell the 7 casualties resulted during a pro-Capriles protest (with no mention that 6 of them were pro-Chavistas + 1 policeman). The extreme right groups are trying to fuel disorder.

Nevertheless, those elections were monitored by many international organizations, the Carter center approved the results, etc.
When Capriles won during the regional election of 2012 (50.3 or 50.7%), his victory was immediately admitted.

Anyway within 3 years, Capriles can call for a referendum, he needs 20% to do that.

The precise allegations by Capriles are explained in the video below (he doesn't even mention those "lost ballots") but rather voting machines that didn't work well, witnesses that were expelled from voting places (he even says some were obliged to leave while being threatened with a gun -> strangely no video exist showing that and 99.9% of the people can take videos with a smartphone now... As of now, the 7 casualties were : 6 chavistas + 1 cop), one video of an "assisted vote", etc.

Chavez also spent time in jail, mujica too. That doesn't mean nothing.

The reality is simple. If the election was cristal clear, why not doing a recount? What's the harm with this? Why the CNE was so expeditive with it? The rushed the process to name him President after one day disregarding the petition of recount.

Something clearly is wrong here. I believe there was fraud here and the whole point is to try to leave this behind, if not they would comply to stop the complaints and the media outrage.
