Making Phone calls with the MagicJack?

I am curious if anyone is using this USB device to call back to the USA? If you don't know about it, It is a USB device that connects to your computer that you can connect to your phone and make calls. It is advertised in the USA as a way to make unlimited calls for $20.00 a year. Just want to know if anyone has had any success using it here.

We use Vonage and Skype. The USB would be interesting, but I wonder how well the signal would work.

There is more information on of course magicjack.com but I think with all services it would depend on your internet connectivity. I am just looking for the cheapest what to have a USA telephone number with voice mail and to make and receive calls in the Northern Virginia area.
