Merry Christmas to all Expats in Beautiful Argentina

How do you compare Marbella vs Alicante ? Alicante is a working class town but with hundreds of thousands
of tourists from north, it is known for diversities of food, and vicinity to the beach, and short train ride to Madrid and Valencia,
it also has its own airport. In terms of population, Alicante is twice as big. Gracias!
Alicante is a nice city I hear but I havent had the chance to visit yet. We like to visit the art galleries cultural activities in Malaga from time to time which is 30 minutues from Marbella

The Spanish roads are superb for the Ferrari and my friend owns a racetrack close by where we often race at the weekends

Nice video

I googled the above 2 cities, here is what is on TravelAdvisor,
of course it's just someone's personal opinion.

1. Re: Valencia, Alicante or Marbella?

As for safety, I don´t think you would have any problems in any of the three cities. None of the three cities you´re interested in are the size of your hometown London. As long as you use your common sense, as you would do at home, Spain is a very safe country.

If you´re looking for a piece of real Spain I´d go for Valencia or possibly Alicante, definitely not Marbella. Marbella is full of hotels and restaurants catering to foreign tourists. It´s a personal opinion, but I think Marbella hardly has anything interesting to offer.

Alicante is a nice, small city. Quite touristy in summer, with great beaches. Valencia has more to offer culturally speaking, as it is bigger. Nice beaches too. In my opinion, Valencia is your best bet.

No contest, Valencia every time. Lovely city with plenty to do and has a beach.
Alicante is OK, but a small city.

Marbella is tacky and certainly lacks the glitz it once had. It is also very expensive.

If I had the money would definitely choose Marbella. Have been to both ...different style not for everyone..! Marbella is like a foreign enclave in Andalucia. Marbella Has most attractions Valencia has plus Other activities that appeal to some. More Expensive ..$$$$
But if you like the international atmosphere and are a Gourmet person , you pay more.
No need to frequent the Marbella Club..!!

It's like what is Better B,A. or Parana Ciry?

Yes, Marbella is much more international and cosmopolitan. Many people from all over the world live here and it has everything you can need without all the traffic and congestion of big cities. London, Paris, Rome, Monaco are a short flight away for occasional weekends away. Madrid is a couple of hours drive away. One of the worlds best polo clubs, Santa Maria, is just a short drive west of Marbella where they hold major yearly international events.

What is wrong with Marbella Club? :) They do not have good hookers ?
Everything is about 30% more expensive in Marbella, rent is double in Marbella. But the average apt sale in Valencia is 200k-300k euros
and the average rent is about 600-700 euros for a 1-2 bedroom apt (in Valencia), so Marbella is not unaffordable, you do not need to stay
in 5 star hotels every day if you live there for long term. If you visit Spain, why do you want to see so many foreigners ?

In ba for the holidays. Yall got it pretty good here. Stores, imports, green grass, ethnic food options . Nice

Madrid is a couple hours drive away? how do you cover 600 km in a couple of hours? And with radars on every turn on the highway.

Same reason why expats choose to live in B.A. rather than Mendoza... !
